Raffle Ticket Control Procedures

This raffle operates under strict AGLC guidelines with comprehensive ticket inventory control procedures:

• A designated Raffle Chairperson oversees all physical control and monitoring of raffle tickets
• Complete record-keeping of ticket issuance, returns, and cash handling
• Segregation of duties between Raffle Chairperson and Treasurer
• Monthly bank statement reconciliation by the treasurer
• Detailed tracking of all prizes paid out with winner verification
• All winning tickets are retained by the organization

Financial Controls

• All ticket sales are recorded with serial number tracking
• Cash deposits are verified and reconciled monthly
• Any discrepancies are immediately reported to President and Raffle Chairperson
• Complete audit trail maintained for all transactions

Eligibility

• Participants must be residents of Alberta
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of ticket purchase
• Tickets cannot be purchased by persons under 18 years of age
• Members of BGC Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area Society (638261) and their immediate families are not eligible

Ticket Sales

• Tickets are sold online through our secure platform
• All ticket sales are final - no refunds or exchanges
• Ticket purchasers will receive electronic confirmation
• Draw numbers are randomly generated by the system

Draw Process

• All draws are conducted using a random number generator
• Bonus draws occur throughout the raffle period
• The grand prize draw will be held at the end of the raffle period
• Winners will be notified within 48 hours of the draw

Prize Claims

• Winners must provide valid government-issued photo ID
• Prizes must be claimed within 6 months of the draw date
• Winners consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes
• All taxes and fees associated with prizes are the responsibility of the winner
